You'll feel right at home at Northgate - a friendly, welcoming centre located in a quiet street surrounded by park land. If you're an outdoor lover, you'll enjoy looking after our resident chickens and budgies, as well as our vegetable garden and fishpond. We have a passionate, experienced team who love working with people to help meet their individual needs and reach their goals. If you have a hobby you'd like to maintain, a new skill you'd like to learn or a passion you'd like to pursue, we'll work with you to make it happen. You will also enjoy the nutritious and balanced meals cooked fresh daily and tailored to your dietary requirements. Group transport can be arranged if you're in the local area and need assistance getting to the hub.

Art and craft
At Northgate you’ll enjoy the opportunity to explore many different mediums, learn new techniques and get creative in a calm, friendly and supportive atmosphere. Our art and craft activities are a great way to build self- confidence and experience the pride that comes from learning new skills and seeing art projects come together.
There’s something very satisfying in seeing a project through from start to finish – and that’s just one of the many things clients enjoy about our woodwork program. Our process begins with a trip to Bunnings to source wood off-cuts for the projects. The group then work through the entire process of planning and building their amazing pieces together. Recent achievements include a super-sized Connect4 set, a fully functional pinball machine and hobby horses for gifts. And while they certainly are a productive group, there is plenty of chat and socialising along the way.
