If you need some extra support to live independently, manage everyday activities or stay connected to your community, we may be able to help you through the Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS).
Through QCSS, Centacare is able to support people who are not eligible for the NDIS, Support at Home, or other funding programs. If you are eligible, we can provide time-limited, low intensity support. This usually means help with everyday activities at home or in your community, for a period of time.
Our team will work with you to understand your needs and provide practical, short-term support. With your wellbeing in mind, this can include help with daily tasks like preparing meals or cleaning, getting to appointments or activities, connecting with local services, taking part in your community and more.
QCSS is available to people under 65 years of age (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) who are not eligible for the NDIS. You don’t need a referral to apply for the QCSS. To get started, contact the QCSS Access Point on 1800 600 300 or email [email protected].
