Supporting families to get their kids back to school

What is School Savvy?

Centacare’s School Savvy initiative unites communities to give children the best start to their school year. By donating preloved uniforms, school supplies, or funds, we can help ease the financial burden on families and ensure children feel included, confident and ready to learn. In 2026, Centacare is bringing School Savvy to Maryborough, opening a pop-up shop stocked with affordable uniforms and essential school items – made possible through the generosity and support of the community.

Ways to support School Savvy

School Savvy relies on the generous support of local people, businesses and community groups to make a difference. Whether you donate school supplies, give your time, or offer financial support, you’re helping children start the school year with dignity and confidence. Every bit counts and your support goes a long way.
