Supporting families to get their kids back to school

What is School Savvy?

Centacare’s School Savvy initiative unites communities to give children the best start to their school year. By donating pre-loved uniforms, school supplies, or funds, we can help ease the financial burden on families and ensure children feel included, confident and ready to learn. In 2027, Centacare is bringing School Savvy to Hervey Bay, opening a pop-up shop stocked with affordable uniforms and essential school items – made possible through the generosity and support of the community.
