The Jessie Witham centre has been part of the community since 1985, originally established by members of the Gympie parish who identified a need for locals to come together to share their interests. You’ll be invited to our regular ‘have your say’ meetings where you’ll work with other centre attendees to design activities that will help you continue enjoying the things you love while also getting the opportunity to discover new skills and interests. If you need assistance with accessing services in the community, our dedicated transport team can get you there with a bus service that can also take you to appointments, shopping and social outings. You’ll find us centrally located in the main Gympie precinct with easy access to the building via ramps. Our activities run from 9.30am-2.30pm Monday-Friday and our office hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.
