Alani is a place where everyone is welcome and included and traditional culture is celebrated all year round. Join us for the day, or for one of our many outings.
We have a diverse group of clients who come to our hub and we place a big emphasis on getting to know every person. We’ll take the time to learn about your interests and the things you enjoy so we can make sure you’re getting the most out of your experience with us. Let us know if you have a suggestion for outings or activities!
If you have a creative side, you’ll enjoy our art and craft. We are fortunate to have talented artists amongst the Elders who attend our centre who provide guidance and encouragement to the group.
Outings are another favourite activity. We enjoy the opportunity to be out in nature, and this often gives us the chance to share traditional stories on Jagera country and collect materials for our art and craft activities.
With Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture a strong focus at Alani, we enjoy special celebrations for all the important events on the Indigenous calendar.
We also connect with community through the local Murri School and child care centres.
At Alani you’ll be treated to healthy, delicious meals each day – and we can cater for special dietary requirements. And if you need assistance getting to and from the centre, our group transport service is available.
