Holistic support is the cornerstone of good practice. All of our clients have access to the expert guidance and advice of a centralised team of nurses, psychologists, social workers and behaviour support specialists who work collaboratively with clients, families and other providers to provide the complete, wrap-around care that people need to thrive.
We believe everyone should enjoy the relationships that are important to them and feel connected to their community. Our high level of clinical oversight means clients with complex needs can get as much from life as possible, in a way that is safe and aligned to their capacity, goals and aspirations.
Our clinical experts work closely with our support workers, providing support, guidance and training to assist with challenging behaviour. In complex situations and in cases where clients experience deteriorating health or need additional support, we have daily check-ins with the support team and offer individual coaching and mentoring to ensure they feel confident and well supported.
We have a robust education process for staff in restrictive practice and positive behaviour practice, with a focus on early intervention, verbal de-escalation, respect and compassion.
